Originating from Atlanta, Georgia, Nelson Trimble's prominent and prolific voice has established this gifted entertainer as one of Atlanta’s premier Spoken Word artist.  His words are inspirational derived from truth and triumph. At the age of 15, he was introduced to drugs, becoming addicted causing a continued downward spiral. By the age of 19, he was incarcerated for armed robbery and faced 120 years in prison. By the grace of God his life and freedom were protected and he was introduced to Spoken Word at the age of 27.  Since then Nelson Trimble has been on his road to redemption.

 

 

Nelson Trimble has become a Motivational Speaker, Author, Playwright, Promoter, and Producer. His body of work includes the motivational and inspirational book "Prison Prayer and Poetry", the hit stage play "Open House" based on his life story, the variety show "The Concoction" held quarterly at the historic Apache café and last but not least the start of his F.U.S.I.O.N. foundation. Nelson has graced many stages across the United States, the Ha Ha Comedy Club in Hollywood, to the historical Jokes & Notes in Chicago to name a few.

 

 

F.U.S.I.O.N (Family Unifying Strength in One Number) was founded by Nelson in 2012 to outreach and promote education, entrepreneurship, community revitalization and health and wellness using an emphasis in the performing arts. It is made up of Concerned Citizens, Artist, Business Owners, Advocates, School Teachers, Mentors and much more.
